...and came home with this...
How does this happen you ask?? Well, I'm happy to say, for once, a purchase was Bill's fault! I've been looking for glass knobs for a project I've been working on (future post to come on that), so on the way to Costco the other day I asked Bill to stop at Restoration Hardware so I could run in and pick a couple of these knobs up. 5 minutes I said. Bill apparently can't be that close to a Pottery Barn, which is just across the parking lot, and not go in. He unloaded all the kids and went in while I went to buy the knobs.
When I went over to Pottery Barn to pick everyone up, Bill informed me he had found our dining room chairs. To make a long story short the chair didn't work with our dining room table, however our kitchen chairs looked great with it. We loved the new chairs so much we decided to keep them for the kitchen (still waiting for 3 more to come) and get the table that matches them! We got them for a KILLER deal!
I just want to go on the record and say that all I went down there for was a couple of knobs!

FUN! I have a love/hate relationship with PB. Love their stuff and hate their prices. But the love side wins most of the time. So, I am glad you got your table set AND that is was on sale! That makes it that much cuter!
Can't wait to see the project with the knobs...
I'm still dying over this little "development". So funny. That's totally something I'd do - go into a store looking for something simple and come out with three times what I went in for. However, it would be on a smaller scale - no new tables for me. Mike would divorce me on that alone.
Still LOVE the table. It's even more fabulous in person. Love it!
I can't get a good look at the table with the cloth on it...... the chairs are beautiful
Wow, now that's a great problem for a husband to have! The table is beautiful and the little glimspe of your house makes me just want to be there Annie. Love it all.
